Workshop Description

Explore the delicate shapes and patterns of ferns in this workshop, “Indigo Ferns.” You'll learn the techniques and processes of creating beautiful fern watercolor paintings using everyone’s favorite blue indigo watercolor hue. Beginner friendly!

We will jump into the world of ferns where I’ll teach you a few simple brushstrokes to create the most popular ferns. You'll also learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting, like preparing the medium, choosing the right materials and supplies, and sketching out a composition.

By the end of this workshop, you'll have a fern watercolor painting (or a few) that showcases your newfound skills. You'll have gained a deeper understanding of watercolor techniques and the ability to create fern paintings on paper.
