About Jenny K

Hi there! I'm Jenny K, also known by my pen name Living Pattern. I'm a watercolor artist & teacher residing in beautiful South Florida—an idyllic setting that serves as a perfect backdrop for my tropical and botanical paintings. I have a deep appreciation for patterns in nature, which continually inspire the vibrant and colorful art that I create.

I studied illustration with a minor in painting at the renowned Savannah College of Art and Design. After graduating, I worked as a textile designer for Carter's and a creative display designer for Urban Outfitters, allowing me to further develop my unique eye for pattern and design.

Today, I'm devoted full-time to my art practice and teaching local workshops. My paintings feature vibrant colors and textures that capture the beauty of botanicals. I hope my art inspires others to slow down and appreciate the beauty in the natural world.
